FAQs

Will you be providing a room block?

We are offering room blocks at two hotels; please visit the Travel-Accommodations section of this website for details. As many guests prefer the flexibility of vacation rentals or AirBnB's, we highly recommend reserving close to one of these hotels to take advantage of the shuttles to and from the venue.

Will there be transportation provided to the venue?

We will be providing a shuttle service to and from the wedding venue on both Friday, 9/25 and Saturday, 9/26, with The Inn at Woodstock Hill and La Quinta Plainfield as the designated pick-up and drop-off locations. The venue is centrally located between these hotels and near many many AirBnb's.

Will there be parking at the venue?

There is limited parking available at the venue which is why we strongly request taking full advantage of the transportation alternatives we are offering.

Are Ubers readily available in the area?

Unfortunately, Uber and Lyft, in rural northeastern Connecticut (often called the "Quiet Corner"), are notoriously unreliable.

What is the dress code?

Please refer back to the Schedule page to find specific attire notes for the events.

The events at Willow Hill, particularly the wedding on Saturday, will be outdoors and on grass. Be forewarned not to wear stilettos. For those so adventurous to do so, we will be providing heel protector caps to help preserve your shoes.

Above all, we want our guests to feel comfortable and enjoy celebrating with us.
But come on…it's Francesca and Andrew…so BRING IT!!

Will I be allowed to smoke at the wedding?

Willow Hill is a non-smoking venue. We kindly ask that guests refrain from smoking cigarettes and cigars on the premises.
